Wikids is a talking encyclopedia for kids that encourages children’s natural curiosity and keeps them engaged through a combination of narration, images, and text.

We take your kids’ privacy seriously — we are parents too. We commit to full transparency in all our current and future apps, and promise never to intentionally deceive or harm the relationship of trust we assume between us, our users, and their parents.

The Applications are designed for the whole family, especially young children. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain what information we collect and how we use it. We may change or update this Privacy Policy at any time as new features are added or as the law evolves. Unless otherwise stated, changes are effective upon posting. You should review the Privacy Policy regularly. This Privacy Policy is also part of the Terms of Use, which outline your rights and responsibilities as well as Wikids’. Wikids is a talking encyclopedia for kids that encourages kids’ natural curiosity and keeps them interested with a combination of narration, images and text. This Privacy Policy explains how data is collected and used through the Wikids App. The Operator is committed to protecting the privacy of its users, particularly children, in compliance with Israeli privacy law, the GDPR (including Article 8 on child protection), COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), and guidelines of Apple Kids and Google Play Families.

1. Information We Collect

We DO NOT collect any personally identifiable information about users or children. The only data collected is non-personal, anonymized analytics data via Firebase, including:

  • Device ID (anonymized)
  • Country and city
  • App usage metrics (e.g., session duration, frequency)

This data cannot be linked back to an individual user.

2. Email Addresses

If a parent voluntarily provides an email address (e.g., for receiving updates or support), this information is collected only through the parent-only section, protected by a parental gate. The email is stored securely and is never associated with any child's activity or usage data.

3. Use of Information

Anonymized analytics data is used exclusively to:

  • Improve the functionality and performance of the App
  • Identify technical issues
  • Understand aggregate usage trends

We do not create user profiles or use the data for targeted advertising.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties except for anonymized analytics data processed by Firebase (Google), which complies with its own strict data privacy policies. No PII is ever shared.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure anonymized data and prevent unauthorized access. All data is encrypted and stored in secure environments.

6. Compliance

Wikids complies fully with:

  • Israel's Protection of Privacy Law
  • EU's GDPR (especially Article 8)
  • US COPPA regulations
  • Apple Kids and Google Play Families policies

7. Parental Rights

Parents may request to update or delete any contact information they have provided (such as an email address) by contacting info@wikids.world.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
